Gil recently taught his first in-person class during the COVID 19 pandemic. All the necessary precautions were in place at the 4 Points by Sheraton on Ellerslie Road in Edmonton, Alberta. As the class picture shows, all were in compliance with the mask requirement when not able to practice social distancing. Due to the reduced class size of 13, Gil taught alone. It made for a very long week with 49 hours of classroom instruction plus the set-up; tear down and exam time. Nevertheless, all were successful in course completion with a class average of 93% on the log book and 85% on the practical. Gil congratulates everyone on a very successful week and extends best wishes for the students’ forward journeys.
